But only so you can rebuild them - and make them better. Our degree lays the foundation for a career that lets you think technically as well as creatively-from microscopic gadgetry to monolithic infrastructures.

What You Will Learn:
You will learn to hone your creative problem-solving capabilities. You will learn how to take your mathematical and physical science knowledge to the next level. Finally, you will learn to understand how things work and how you can make them work better.

What It Is Like:
Courses in this two-year program are taught by professors with advanced engineering degrees and real-world experience. You will work side-by-side with other engineering students who share your passion for calculus, chemistry and physics.

Where It Can Take You:
Most students opt to transfer to a four-year engineering institution upon completing their degree here. From there, you can enter many different branches of engineering, including aeronautical, chemical, electrical, mechanical and civil.
Career Paths >
It is important that students who plan to transfer after
completing their studies at Onondaga consult from the beginning of their academic
program with an OCC advisor and a contact at the transfer college to make sure
both OCC's degree requirements and transfer requirements are being meet. You
