Onondaga Community College recognizes student achievement and individual merit with over 55 different scholarships. When you apply for financial aid, you are automatically considered for one of these financial awards. Unlike loans, they do not have to be repaid.
Originally established in 1996 in memory of Onondaga Community College art student Angie Sue Weisman, this scholarship is currently funded by Timothy and Deborah Rodrigo for full-time students taking at least one art course per semester with a grade of "B" or better. Award is for tuition and/or books and supplies. The Financial Aid office will notify eligible candidates and will request an application, essay and portfolio with three pieces of art (slides and/or original works) that must be delivered to the Onondaga Community College Graphics Arts department secretary and marked to the attention of Tim Rodrigo. A selection committee will select the final recipient. Deadline: November 18.
